Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Strategist- FULL TIME POSITION

The JAR Group is looking for a dedicated SEO Strategist to manage agency clients. Our open office environment fosters team work and encourages innovation and deep thought in the online marketing space. Beyond client facing work, the candidate will also be responsible for SEO strategy for our self-owned and operated portfolio of digital properties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Building complete SEO strategies for clients and internally managed websites.
- Ongoing audience management responsibly, that includes identification of brand-appropriate SEO tactics that drive traffic and improve site metrics.
- Hands-on SEO optimization, page construction, content suggestions, keyword development, improvement of site structure and copywriting/editing for SEO.
- Research, identify and establish partnerships with authoritative web sites for link-building.
- Assists the Account Management team with client calls and helps to communicate the overall SEO strategy.
- Management experience a plus.
- Ability to implement and execute upon the SEO strategy
Experience
- 5+ Years of hands-on SEO experience, agency-side preferred
- Proficient with SEO reporting and analytical tools
- Knowledge of server-side technology
- Proficient to expert with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
- Experience with client presentations
- A/B and multi-variety testing experience desired
- Bachelor's degree
