Responsibilities:

• Create and execute SEO strategies for Yodle Local and client sites with the goal of increasing search engine organic traffic and leads
• Manage all aspects of SEO campaigns from optimizing metadata to directing content production and link acquisition
• Build institutional SEO awareness and expertise by communicating best practices to business development, editorial and sales teams
• Research and communicate industry innovation and trends with regards to search engines and search engine marketing
• Use analytics and trends to identify and execute news areas of growth
• Create systems and scalable processes that allow for step level change in performance - including methods for creating, organizing, and optimizing content
• Create and maintain centralized SEO best practices documentation
  Qualifications:
   
• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience
• Expert knowledge of SEO best practices, tactics and ranking strategies
• Knowledge of SEO software and tools including basic knowledge of CMS
• Knowledge of Omniture, Google Analytics or other Web Analytic services
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
• Ideally have some knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script and Flash and how search engines are influenced by web technologies
• Experience working in lead-generation a plus
• Bachelor's degree
