Our client, a managed service provider, is a growing start-up company with endless opportunity and flexibility. They are seeking a Junior Web Developer to join the team in a part time project basis capacity to help ease project workflow in the short term, and potentially grow into a more senior role in the long term. The project work will act as an audition for a more permanent position.

Teamwork and personality are an important part of working with this team. This opportunity will offer mentoring and room for growth. Initially a minimum 15 hours of work is required; work may be done from home and/or after business hours.

This immediate need is for a junior level developer to with both front end/back end web development skills and system admin support. The work will be done on a Drupal based website built entirely in PHP on the backend.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, application development and/ or web development
• Work, internship, or extensive project experience in application development
• PHP 5.2
• MySQL 5.X
• Linux/CentOS
• Bash shell-scripting
• SVN
• Apache
• Any web 2.0/jquery/ajquery is a plus!
