Mosaic has recently launched Mosaic Interactive, a department dedicated to creating high quality marketing websites for some of North America's leading brands. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Web Designer to join the Mosaic Interactive team.

Job Objective:

Work with project managers, information architects, graphic designers and web developers to create page layout solutions, carrying them forward through development, coding and completion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Web Design experience
• Expertise in coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, emphasizing table-free layouts
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing and quality assurance
• Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Flash production & integration
• Experience working back and forth with back-end developers
• An online portfolio demonstrating past work and a range of the skills mentioned above
• Strong visual and conceptual design sense
• Understanding of interface design and usability principles
• Good organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently and in collaborative scenarios
  Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced knowledge of ActionScript 3.0
• Some experience with and understanding of Ajax
  Technical Experience Required:
• HTML/XHTML (level - expert)
• CSS (level - expert)
• Javascript (level - intermediate)
• Basic Knowledge of ActionScript 3.0
• W3C Standards
• Familiarity with Mac OSX
