Mosaic Sales Solutions Canada is a Sales/Merchandising and Experiential Marketing agency that utilizes our considerable expertise, proven best practices and leading-edge technology to execute brand relevant selling, merchandising and event marketing programs across all retail channels and business-to-business.
Mosaic has recently launched Mosaic Interactive, a department dedicated to creating high quality marketing websites for some of North America's leading brands. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Web Designer to join the Mosaic Interactive team.
Job Objective:
Work with project managers, information architects, graphic designers and web developers to create page layout solutions, carrying them forward through development, coding and completion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Web Design experience
- Expertise in coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, emphasizing table-free layouts
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing and quality assurance
- Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Flash production & integration
- Experience working back and forth with back-end developers
- An online portfolio demonstrating past work and a range of the skills mentioned above
- Strong visual and conceptual design sense
- Understanding of interface design and usability principles
- Good organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and in collaborative scenarios
Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced knowledge of ActionScript 3.0
- Some experience with and understanding of Ajax
Technical Experience Required: - HTML/XHTML (level - expert)
- CSS (level - expert)
- Javascript (level - intermediate)
- Basic Knowledge of ActionScript 3.0
- W3C Standards
- Familiarity with Mac OSX
- Graphic Optimization
