SEO and Social Media Specialist

Are you passionate about search, social media and the travel industry? Do you love social networks and spend hours online? Then this is the perfect job for you! Venere.com, the online hotel reservations web site controlled by Expedia, is looking for a French and/or German speaking SEO Specialist to join its SEO team and help build Venere.com's online visibility. The emphasis of the role will be on link building, SEO content, social media and blogs. He or she will report to the Head of SEO and work closely with our lead link builder and seo content specialist.

Responsibilities include:
Keyword research
SEO and web content creation
Link building
Competitor research
Managing / finding freelance blog writers
Ensure blog article quality and SEO-friendliness
Build a strong network in the online media and travel communities
Identify leads in the online media and travel sectors
Obtain links through social networks and media

Requirements:
University degree in marketing / communications/ public relations or a related field
1 yr Experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of SEO best practices
Working languages are French and/or German. Good knowledge of English is preferred.
Must be able to work independently on Wordpress platform
Previous experience in using Omniture Site Catalyst and Google Analytics preferred.
