Rivers Agency needs a web developer
Applicant needs to have a significant understanding of the following:
Linux, Apache, PHP/MySQL, Jquery, Wordpress, XHTML, CSS, OSX

By significant understanding, we mean:

Linux: Very comfortable maintaining and configuring Linux servers from the command line.
Apache: Have installed, compiled, configured and customized and set up on multiple OSs.
PHP: Understands best practices, can hand-code complex custom web applications ( not looking for a hack ).
MySQL: Intimate understanding of SQL, relational database design, scaling and optimizing MySQL server.
JQuery: Familiar with basic Javascript syntax, JQuery plugins and can write custom functions if needed
Wordpress: Understands all aspects of developing and deploying a custom WP site. Includes creating custom themes, plugins and a good understanding of the WP core and WP functions. Can show examples of multiple custom WP sites (not simple blog setups)
XHTML: Can hand-code valid XHTML in your sleep.
CSS: Writes valid CSS that is cross-browser compatible.
OSX: We are a Mac shop. Should be very familiar with OSX

Applicant must have good communication skills including verbal and written skills.
Must be able to somewhat accurately quote projects from experience given a documented scope.

Plone/Python/Zope, Adobe PhotoShop, e-commerce (OsCommerce/TimCart/ZenCart) and Paypal API, Facebook and Twitter APIs, C#/.NET and SQL Server
