Playdom is looking for Web Developers that are smart, enthusiastic and have excellent programming skills. You should enjoy writing code for fun, building tools, and working with data. You should have the aptitude to pick up many random technologies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Recent industry experience should be in a fast paced environment with short project deadline (e.g. startup, service, marketing environments)
5 years of industry experience in full cycle web application development (i.e. experience with both backend, frontend and platform integration)
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Experience touching lots of different technologies
Demonstrated ability / knowledge of web application scaling
Must be a graduate from a top tier computer science program
Required technologies: Expert level-Java / LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). Proficiency:Javascript, CSS. Comfortable: flash AS3
Required knowledge Object Oriented Programming
Design patterns such as model view controller, primarily Java: tomcat PHP acceleration techniques, framework such as Code Igniter, CAKE, ZEND...

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Create fully rendered usable interfaces for online social games and related features for non-english versions of our games.
Provide solid insight in areas of user interface design, graphics optimization, navigation, site layout, usability design, and overall website & game design practice
Work closely with the engineers, producers and internationalization team on existing titles for Facebook and other platforms
