Interaction Designer

Internet Brands is looking for an experienced Interaction Designer who can combine a passion for creating innovative products with a user-centered design, a good visual sense, the technical capacity to interface with engineers and the business acumen to drive product goals. As an Interaction Designer, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the product strategy and redesign for a number of highly trafficked sites in our Travel & Lifestyle vertical (ie. Wikitravel.org, Flyertalk.com, Fitday.com, etc.). You will create the next generation of web and mobile products using some of the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

Lead the product strategy and redesign from concept to launch for each property in your vertical. Interface with content, marketing and business teams to identify product goals and define metrics that inform the success of products. Create and maintain product use cases, requirements, and wireframes. Work with engineering teams to prioritize features and build a product roadmap. Continuously monitor site performance and data to recognize trends, model data and forecasts, and drive improvements in the site designs and experience.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Computer Science, HCI or related technical field. 5+ years of related experience in a product management role at a consumer internet company. Demonstrated record of launching successful consumer products for web and mobile. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong sense of user-centered design and well implemented user experiences. Experience with A/B or multivariate testing for site optimization.
